School district names three finalists

— The public has an opportunity today to meet the Mt. Adams School District’s three superintendent finalists.

The school board will select from among Joey Castilleja, a high school and middle school principal in the district; Curt Guaglianone, a Heritage University vice president; and Daniel Lantis, superintendent for the school district in Clark County, Idaho.

Initial interviews with the finalists are today. The community portion is from 5:15-8 p.m. at Harrah Elementary School, 3851 Harrah Road.

During that period, the public can meet with each of the three candidates in separate sessions, each lasting 45 minutes.

The School Board could select its school district’s new superintendent as soon as tomorrow.

The person will replace Henry Strom, who is leaving to take the same post with the Grandview School District.
