Grandview scramble set for Saturday

Tee off for first session begins at 9 a.m.

— The Grandview Rotary Club will be hosting the second Disc Golf Scramble tomorrow.

The competition will be a 4-person scramble, with Professional Disc Golf Association rules in play.

Each foursome will play nine holes each with all members throwing from the tee.

Only one score per hole per team is to be recorded.

All putts must be holed outs, with no gimmes an no mulligans are allowed.

The first session starts at 9 a.m., ending at 11:30 a.m.

The second session follows lunch from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All participants are required to check-in 30 minutes prior to tee time.

There will be cash prizes for first and second place, with third place receiving gift certificates.

Special prizes will be presented to disc golfers with the shortest drive, longest drive, highest score, accuracy drive, longest putt and closest to the pin.

Prizes are open to players of all levels.

Registration cost is $30 per person. A maximum of 18 teams is allowed to participate.

The tournament will be at Dykstra Park, 921 South Euclid Road.
