Granger council meets Tuesday

— The City Council will discuss a new police hire, a possible land acquisition and the upcoming Cherry Festival at its meeting Tuesday night.

The workshop starts at 6 p.m. On the agenda is discussion of the city website, rental fees for the scout cabin and public works requests.

The regular meeting starts at 7 p.m. Council will vote on a contract with the Granger Lions Club and a loan to the irrigation fund.
