Council inks contracts

— The City Council approved a contract with Granger Lions Club for the town’s annual Cherry Festival last night.

Council members also approved an ordinance loaning $90,000 to the irrigation fund to pay irrigation bills and $6,500 in requests for Public Works supplies.

The council also discussed creating a website, the purchase of new police uniforms and converting two police cars into staff vehicles.
