SUNNYSIDE The popular duo Bronn and Katherine Journey is returning to the High School auditorium at 3 p.m. May 15.
It is the final performance for the Lower Valley Community Concert Association’s 2015-2016 season.
The Journeys’ concert is a free bonus for new association members.
The couple consists of Bronn on a harp, and Katherine providing vocals.
They are touring extensively throughout the nation, having logged as many 35,000 miles during a concert season.
Those attending the May 15 concert may be interested in the 2016-17 concert season, association officials said..
The coming season features Kubecca, an expressive voice and vibraphone combo; Victoria Banks, a Canadian country singer; Brandon Ridenour, the virtuoso trumpeter accompanied by piano; Derik Nelson and Family, intricate pop music harmonies; and Sonic Escape, “hyper-instrumentalists” on violin and flute.
All 2016-17 concerts will be at 3 p.m. on Sundays at the high school auditorium..
Community concert members may also attend performances at no additional cost in the Tri-Cities, Wenatchee, Moses Lake and Pendleton through a reciprocity agreements with those associations.
