Diverse line-up planned for state fair

— Valley residents can “Get Your Fair On” when the Central Washington State Fair opens at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 for a 10-day run.

Along with FFA, 4-H and open class exhibits in the fair building at State Fair Park, 1301 S. Fair Ave., a diverse collection of headline entertainers will be on stage.

Evening concerts on the Corona Extra Stage are free with paid fair admission. Reserved seating is available for an additional fee.

This year, the fair will feature everyone from Foghat at 7:30 p.m. Friday to Michael Salgado y Grupo Control at 4 p.m. Oct. 2.

Also featured in concert will be Country singer Clay Walker at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24, Los Reileros del Norte at 4 p.m. Sept. 25, Boyz II Men at 7 p.m. Sept. 27, Hinder at 7 p.m. Sept. 28, Rachel Platten at 7 p.m. Sept. 29, Grand Funk Railroad at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30, and Clint Black at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
