Agreement aids students

— Thanks to the renewal of an interlocal agreement between the city and the school district, students will continue have afterschool programs to attend for the coming school year.

The agreement allows for the Frenzy Friday programs for middle school students to attend activities at the community center, 812 Wallace Way, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Brad Shreeve said.

The agreement also provides flexibility for middle school programs at the Middle School the rest of the week.

Typically, more than 100 students take advantage of the Frenzy Friday programs, Shreeve said.
