Pirates fall to Yakama Tribal

— Powered by a strong offensive performance, the Yakama Tribal Eagles boys basketball team cruised past the Bickleton Pirates last night, 72-54.

Yakama Tribal took a 16-15 first quarter lead and continued to build on it.

Pirates coach William Daley credited Cesareo Arriaga with a strong performance, pulling down 18 rebounds and scoring 17 points.

Other Pirates posting double digits are C.J. Strader with 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Joseph Cummings with 11 points and 4 assists. Kyle Underwood added 10 rebounds, 7 points and 3 assists.

Yakama Tribal’s Bryan Strom and Justin Strom each posted 13 points to pace the Eagles.
