YAKIMA The eighth annual Yakima Valley Ag Expo opened this morning and continues through tomorrow at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
More than 500 exhibitors are expected to showcase all things agriculture — from mammoth field equipment to farm worker housing — in the SunDome in the State Fair Park, 1301 S. Fair Ave.
Organizers said this year’s expo offers a broader scope of exhibits staffed by company leaders and product experts, with the latest innovations, products and technologies featured.
Farmers will have an opportunity to kick a few tractor tires, as well as attend chemical certification classes in the Modern Living building.
Tomorrow, the annual Washington Hop Industry meeting will be at 8:30 a.m. at the SunDome.
The agriculture show and certification classes end at 4 p.m. tomorrow, organizers said.
The two-day show follows a similar event held earlier this week at the TRAC in Pasco.
There is no admission to attend the Yakima show.
Parking is also free, organizers said.
