The fair organizers are unveiling some new programming and features as well as welcoming back some of fair favorites.
The popular Miniature Horse and Pony show will take place from Sept. 22 -25.
A mid-week open exhibitor and breeds show Sept. begins Sept. 26. The youth and 4-H riders will show on the closing
weekend of fair, Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
Mary Kitzmiller is returning to provide the fair audience with more of her horsemanship expertise. She will be in the Round Pen multiple times each day working with a variety of horses as she shares her knowledge on training and techniques.
Make plans to visit the Robert Golob Milking
Parlor to see demonstrations on live cow milking.
The dairy cow milking parlor was dedicated to Robert Golob in 2016. An official ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. to unveil the new memorial.
The Agricuture Building will now be featuring a hands-on art exhibit: Yakima County Farm Bureau’s AgriWorld of Art!
