Foundation hosts golf tournament

— The Northwest Community Foundation is hosting its annual Hogue Classic Golf Tournament tomorrow at Black Rock Creek Golf Course.

The fundraiser, benefitting the Wane Hogue Capital Fund and Prosser Medical Center, features prizes for the golf with a hole-in-one on No. 9, the mens and womens longest drive, the men and women getting closest to the pin, the longest putt and accuracy drive.

Net scores are calculated by percentage of four handicaps or average scores.

Expected to take part in the event are 124 players in 4-player teams. The 18-hole scramble starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.

The Wayne Hogue Capital Fund provides money for the medical center facility improvements, equipment and staff training.

The golf course is located at 31 Ray Road.
