‘Erin’s Law’ heard by Education Commitee

Rep. Gina McCabe, R-Goldendale, testifies yesterday before the House Education Committee about the need for her House Bill 1539, dubbed “Erin’s Law” in Washington state. The bill would create a task force to create a sexual-abuse identification and prevention curriculum for public K-12 schools. In addition to McCabe, the measure’s namesake, Erin Merryn also testified.
