Heritage University to host career fair

Employers include schools and clinics

— Yakima Valley job seekers will be able to connect with employers during the Heritage University Career Fair this Thursday.

It is free and open to the public.

Representatives from a wide range of companies will be available to share their firms’ career opportunities.

They include school districts, clinics, hospitals, non-profit groups, government agencies and agricultural industries.

“The career fair can also help employers learn more about opportunities to host interns and work with the university’s academic programs,” spokesman David Mance said.

For example, a representative from the state legislature will be on hand to share intern opportunities in Olympia.

The fair is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Smith Family Hall, which is located in the Arts and Science Center on Heritage University’s main campus in Toppenish.
