— “Celtic with a twist” is how Sonic Escape, the next group in the Lower Valley Community Concert series, has been described.

Armed with flute and violin, Juilliard graduates Shawn Wyckoff and Maria Millar will be in concert at 3 p.m. April 9, at the Sunnyside High School auditorium, 1801 E. Edison Ave.

Tickets for this performance are available at the door for the final concert of the 2016-2017 season, association spokeswoman Liz Donaldson

said.

She said tickets for the 2017-2018 four-concert season can be purchased on the group’s website, as well as by mail, P.O Box 374, Sunnyside, WA., 98944, from volunteers or at the concert.

New members are welcome to attend the Sonic Escape concert as a bonus for buying season tickets, Donaldson said.

Sonic Escape has been featured on the celebrated national stages of Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Lincoln

Center.
