Chicken recalled

— Foster Poultry Farms is recalling 131,880 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat breaded chicken patties.

The federal Department of Agriculture said the patties may contain plastic.

The recall applies to 5-pound bags containing 20 pieces with best by date of Feb. 15, 2018, records show.

Products subject to recall have the number “P-33901” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

It’s believed the pieces of clear, soft plastic originated from the company’s packaging materials.
