Neil Simon play try-outs planned

— Auditions for Valley Theater Company’s February production of Last of the Red Hot Lovers, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Princess Theatre, 1228 Meade Ave.

Auditions will include readings from the script and some improvisation and/or miming, according to director SueEllen Davis. Roles are available for one man, late 40s-50s, and three women, 20s-50s.

“The actors need to be able to use their body language as well as their mouths,” Davis said.

Rehearsals will be held three evenings a week for the man’s role, and one evening a week for the women until mid-January, when the entire cast will rehearse three evenings a week.

Scripts are available for a three-day check-out by contacting VTC’s Artistic Director, Candace Andrews, at 509-539-6764.

The play will open in mid-February.
