Two assailants wanted for robbery, assault

Sheriff’s Office seeking assistance from the public

— A law enforcement agency is asking for the public’s assistance in finding two men who robbed and sexually assaulted a 45-year-old man near here Friday.

Yakima County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the call in the 1500 block of Lucy Lane

They’d been told an armed robbery has just taken place, the agency said.

The male victim, a 45-year-old Yakima County resident, said he was robbed of personal effects and sexually assaulted at gun point, Sgt. R. Tucker said.

According to Tucker, the suspects discharged a firearm during the commission of the two crimes.

The victim believed at least two male suspects of unknown ethnicity victimized him, Tucker said.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction in an import type vehicle of unknown make, model or color, Tucker said..

The victim believed he may have been targeted after withdrawing money from an ATM, Tucker said.

The victim declined medical attention and was later transported to his residence, he said.
