Baby-sitting class offered

— Learn baby sitter duties and responsibilities at a class being offered at the city Community Center, 1521 S. First St.

“Babysitting 101 is being offered for three weeks, twice a week, in two-hour sessions, beginning Sept. 26,” Parks and Recreation Director Lander Grow said.

Grow said the students will be given CPR, AED and First Aid training, earning certification for the trainings.

There are 14 spots available for participants, age 13 and older. The fee is $30 and includes a T-shirt.

Classes take place from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 26, 28, Oct. 3,5,10, and 12.

The deadline to register is Sept. 15. Call 509-837-8660 to sign-up.
