Burglary suspect appears in court

— A Grandview man is charged with domestic violence residential burglary.

Isaias Peralta Figueroa, 43, appeared before Yakima County Superior Court Judge David Soukup Tuesday after Grandview police completed their investigation of the Aug. 10 case.

Figueroa’s son reported the man’s presence at a home in which his estranged wife lived. There was a no-contact order in place, and one of the family members at the home witnessed Figueroa pick a lock to the back door, court documents show.

Police learned protection orders were in place for all three residents of the home, and police requested he be charged with residential burglary and three counts of no-contact order violation, documents show.
