Food safety is topic

— The Center for Latino Farmers will be hosting a series of four-hour workshops on “food safety” Nov. 27-30, at the Oxford Suites, 1701 E. Yakima Ave. The workshops will be held from 5 to 9 p.m.

The workshops will focus on educating producers and farm workers in transition to farm owners throughout the North and South regions to hear from expert representatives from WSDA, USDA agencies, State and Federal agencies, and Ag industry on food safety topics and other issues facing small producers.
