Several wrestlers ages 5 and 6 competed Saturday in the largest wrestling tournament in the state, the Jason Crawford Memorial Tournament in the Spokane Convention Center. Here are a few photos of the youngest, smallest competitors.
SPOKANE Young wrestlers from across Eastern Washington and North Idaho competed on 16 mats Saturday in the Spokane Convention Center during the annual Jason Crawford Memorial Tournament.
The event set a world record for hosting 1,601 competitors under a single roof in a single day.
Wrestlers ages 5-14 from Benton City, Prosser, Mabton, Grandview, Sunnyside, Granger, Zillah, Toppenish and Wapato were on the mats for the day-long event.
