Manager Jose Barcena, left, his father Custodio Barcena and brother-in-law Martin Razo start the renovations that are coming to the Cherry Hill Family Fun Center in Granger. First on the schedule is an overhaul of the Dino Putt mini golf course. There will be all new carpet and obstacles for the 18 holes. Trees are being removed to make room for round dining tables and umbrellas. The center has a batting/driving range, an executive golf course, an arcade and other kids games. Added this year will be the cannon ball game. It is played in an enclosed area by up to eight people in teams. They battle with air cannons. Also new will be a children’s play area with swings, slides and a climbing wall.
