Man allegedly molested boy

— A local man was in court yesterday to answer to a charge of first-degree child molestation.

Homero Zapien-Sanchez, 26, is accused of having sexual contact with his 9-year-old step-son, court records show.

He allegedly asked the boy to show his penis in exchange for money and rub it with a pencil, court records show.

Zapien-Sanchez allegedly confessed to asking but denied using money or a pencil during the exposures, records show.

He is being held without bail in the Yakima County Jail on first-degree child molestation, records show.
