Finding solutions for resolutions

— Not all resolutions have to be about food and exercise. Some resolutions can focus on mental health. How better to improve mental health than by helping others or learning a new skill.

For example, learn a new card game. Most community senior citizen centers offer afternoon card games like pinochle. Call the local center for times and dates. There are a number of bridge groups looking for new players, interested in a challenging card game.

Volunteer at the local community centers. Offer to read with students or with the elderly. Become a coach or learn to referee.
