TOPPENISH Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has added several new providers to its medical roster.
Among the new providers is Sarah Wight, ARNP who is working at the Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic.
Wright earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Portland in Portland, Ore. She completed her residency at Sollus Northwest Family Nurse Practitioner Residency at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Yakima.
She is fluent in Spanish.
Also new to Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic is Dr. Petr Cigner.
Cigner earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
He completed his pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He has worked as a clinical dietitian and clinical tutor.
Katrina Aguilar, PA-C, joined the Grandview Medical-Dental team in Grandview. She earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked as a clinical research coordinator.
Caleb Knight, PA-C, also joined the team at Grandview Medical-Dental Clinic. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. He learned Spanish while living in Argentina as a missionary.
Dr. Jennifer Maxwell joined the team at Yakima Medical-Dental Clinic in Yakima. Maxwell, MD, MPH, earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo, College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Kristy Riniker, MD, MPH has also joined Yakima Medical-Dental She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine, in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Masters of Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health, with a concentration in Global Health. Riniker has worked with the New Mexico breastfeeding task force, served as Chief Resident in her residency program and taught classes for new parents.
Celisa McGrone, ARNP joined Yakima Medical-Dental Clinic as a resident. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga. She started her nursing career as an LPN in a federally qualified community health center, and spent four years as an intensive care nurse. She is currently completing her residency at Sollus Northwest Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program in Yakima.
Vanessa Butler, ARNP, also joined the team at Yakima Medical-Dental Clinic as a resident. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle. She worked as an emergency nurse at a Level 1 trauma center. She is currently completing her residency at Sollus Northwest Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program.
Matlin Sader, ARNP is working as a resident at Yakima Medical-Dental Clinic. She earned her Master of Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. She worked for six years as an ICU nurse, charge nurse, and critical care transport team member. She is currently completing her residency at Sollus Northwest Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program.
Dalisa Barquero, ARNP, joined the team at Lincoln Avenue Medical-Dental Center in Yakima. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Ky. She is bilingual/bicultural in Spanish and English. Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, she is a former U.S Peace Corps volunteer and was a rural health fellow for National Rural Health Association.
Elizabeth Luke, ARNP, is now working at the Lincoln Avenue Medical-Dental Center team.
She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Primary Care from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. She has worked in labor and delivery for 12 years, where she developed a passion for recognizing and assisting with postpartum depression.
Also new to Lincoln Avenue Medical-Dental Center is Elizabeth Jacobson, MD, MPH, OB/GYN.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Minn. She completed her residency at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and completed an MPH to support her passion to care for the community.
Brock Rule, PA-C, joined the medical team at Unify Community Health in Spokane.
He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from Idaho State University in Meridian, Idaho. He completed his family medicine rotations at St. Luke’s Family Medicine-Nampa and Trinity Mountain Medical Clinic, Mountain Home, Idaho.
Risa Cole, ARNP, is also new to the Unify Community Health Center in Spokane. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. Cole completed her residency at Sollus Northwest Family Nurse Practitioner Residency at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Yakima.
