A registered sex offender convicted of first-degree child molestation in 2008 has moved to the 500 block of Dayton Drive in Sunnyside.

Another has registered as a transient in Yakima County.

Tony Joel Cruz, 30, registered his Dayton Drive address with the Yakima County Sheriff in keeping with the terms of his sentence.

He is classified as a Level II offender, according to a July 11 press release.

Cruz is not wanted by law enforcement, and the notification of his address is for public information only.

Jason Andrew Wright, 46, was convicted of first-degree kidnapping and first-degree attempted rape in 2001.

Because he has no fixed residence, Wright must report to the sheriff’s office on a weekly basis, listing where he stays during periods between

visits.

Wright is classified as a Level III offender and is newly on the registration list.

He is not wanted by law enforcement.
