Deputies have been advising people caught burning, even in a burn barrel, of the consequences of violating the ban, which include a $1,000 fine and possible jail time.
Police in Sunnyside are investigating a burglary reported yesterday (Monday) in the 700 block of Cemetery Road.
A GM Humvee truck was reported stolen yesterday afternoon from the 800 block of Wallace Way. The vehicle was later recovered just outside of Mabton, according to Grandview police. The incident is under investigation.
