Among the four thefts and one burglary reported to police yesterday (Tuesday) was a shoplifting incident at Walmart.

Man accused of threatening wife with a knife in Grandview

Just after midnight this morning, Wednesday, Grandview police were called about a domestic incident in the 200 block of DeAngela Drive. A 30-year-old woman reported her 34-year-old husband was intoxicated and had threatened her with a knife.

Sunnyside firemen/EMTs have responded to four citizen requests for emergency aid during the past 24 hours.

Firearms taken in burglary

Yakima County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary report made last Saturday night in the 1100 block of Bagley Drive near Sunnyside. A window was broken to make entry and a television set and firearms were reported stolen.

Car prowler damages GPS

An unsuccessful car prowl resulted in damage to an in-dash navigation system of a vehicle parked in the 500 block of West Fourth Street yesterday (Monday).

Six hurt in three-rig pile-up on SR-241 near Mabton

A 26-year-old Mabton woman, say Washington State Patrol officials, is to blame for a three-vehicle accident that occurred late yesterday morning.
