After winning two matches, the Sunnyside girls bowling team suffered a disappointing night at Nob Hill Lanes against Eisenhower on Thursday. The Cadets varsity team won, 2035-1478. The JV edged the Grizzlies, 1344-1302.
Several wrestling teams from throughout the region are taking part in the annual Cadet Classic at Eisenhower High School on Dec. 15.

The Mustang girls came from behind to edge Granger, 38-35, in a non-league basketball contest Friday, December 1. The Spartans jumped to a 13-9 lead in the first quarter. But the Mustangs battled back, outscoring their hosts, 11-5 for a 20-18 halftime lead.
The Chiawana Riverhawks girls basketball team took a non-league win home after defeating the Grizzlies, 69-61, on Saturday.

Mabton falls, Bickleton wins in Friday action
The 1A Spartans surprised the 2A Mustangs boys basketball team Friday, taking a non-league victory, 56-51. In other boys hoops scores Friday, Warden dunked Mabton, 69-37, and Bickleton knocked off the visiting Riverside Christian Crusaders, 61-56.
