Linde, Maltos to compete in state races
Two relay teams and two individuals from Sunnyside High School are set to compete in the 4A state track and field championships at Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma.
The Sunnyside Christian fastpitch team is set to compete in the 1B state tournament in Yakima on Friday due to its two regional tournament wins at Medical Lake High School this past Monday.
Knights golfer misses second-day cut
The lone Sunnyside Christian golfer to compete in the 1B/2B Golf Tournament at Horn Rapids Golf Course yesterday missed the cut for a second day of action by 12 strokes.
The Prosser Mustangs have 11 athletes and the Grandview Greyhounds have 3 qualified for the 2A state track meet at Mt. Tahoma High School this Thursday through Saturday.

Granger’s entries in the 1A District Tennis Tournament this past Friday and Saturday brought their best play of the year and all six are going to state.

At Friday’s South Central Athletic Conference District track meet four Granger Spartans, 14 Zillah Leopards and two Kiona-Benton Bears qualified for the 1B, 2B, 1A state track meet to take place at Eastern Washington University in Cheney this coming Thursday through Saturday.
