Sunnyside downtown storefront windows are beginning to look a lot like Christmas. This past Monday afternoon, Sunnyside window painter Paola Guzman began the process of cleaning the windows of the former H&H Furniture building at the corner of East Edison Avenue and South Sixth Street. “We want to win the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce’s window decorating contest,” said building owner Bill Capron. He said the storefront will be open Saturday, Dec. 7, just in time for Sunnyside’s 25th annual Lighted Farm Implement Parade. For more details on the window decorating contest, call the chamber office at 837-5939.
