Leading by only three midway through the third quarter, the Lady ‘Hounds prevailed with a 38-17 run from there. Shafer tallied 16 points and eight rebounds Friday, while teammate Marissa Caballero led all scorers with 27 points to go with five assists. Samantha Grove added 15 points and eight rebounds for Grandview. The Lady Greyhounds found it tough going last Saturday at Toppenish in a 62-57 loss. Caballero again led Grandview with 22 points, followed by Shafer and Grove with 13 points apiece. The Lady Greyhounds close the regular season tomorrow, Tuesday, with a home contest against Prosser.
