The Yakima Valley Fair & Rodeo vendor alley has much to offer fair-goers this year. The fair opened Wednesday and runs through this coming Saturday evening at the Country Park fairgrounds on Wallace Way in Grandview.

Getting her Holstein yearling to stand still for the dairy livestock judges is no easy task for young Brooklon Struikmans of the Green Valley 4-H Club. Dairy judging was one of the first 4-H activities to be held during the opening day of the Yakima Valley Fair & Rodeo in Grandview yesterday (Wednesday).
