Make a break, preferably later, for Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CALIF. - Time magazine recently published its list of the most popular spring break destinations among college students. High on that list is Santa Monica Beach in California. Plenty of sun and surf and shopping make it attractive, but probably not during this week’s spring break for those who aren’t in the college set. Santa Monica actually offers plenty of family fun activities to see and do. Among them are bicycle trails, an aquarium, Palisades Park and the landmark Santa Monica Pier. So make a break for Santa Monica...just not this week.
