Go under the sea in Vancouver, B.C.

VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA – Founded in 1951 and opened in 1956, the Vancouver Aquarium is the oldest and largest of Canada’s aquariums. It’s also a great place to visit for adults and children. People can visit vanaqua.org for ticket prices and hours, or follow aquablog.ca to stay up-to-date on the aquarium’s projects and exhibits.

A sea horse stands out in stark contrast to its coral habitat in the Tropic Zone. The Vancouver Aquarium is home to 50,000 animals which hail from diverse habitats, from Canada’s Arctic to the Amazon rainforest to British Columbia’s local waters.
