PATERSON – Travertine tiles, beautiful vistas and luxurious accommodations await visitors at the Estate at Destiny Ridge, now owned by Alexandria Nicole Cellars. The winery has for years grown its grapes along the Columbia River. Owners Jarred and Ali Boyle watched as the nearby estate was constructed for longtime friend and fellow winemaker Hope Moore, who is the founder of the non-profit organization Make the Dash Count. Last year, however, the Boyles had an opportunity to purchase Moore’s luxurious estate that sits atop a hill overlooking the Columbia River. It has been converted into an events center. At the basement level is a tasting room and the mansion is topped with a room designed like a lighthouse with a 360-degree view of the vistas surrounding it. The Boyles’ vision for the newly acquired building is its use as an events facility, for weddings and other celebrations. Tours and rentals of the facility are available to the public by appointment, by calling 509-554-4829. The tasting room is open Fridays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. The Estate at Destiny Ridge is located on Sonova Road near Paterson and Crow Butte Park.
