‘Sort’ not short of those who believe in the cause

A specially made saddle was raffled off during this past weekend’s event in Sunnyside to raise money for Sort-4-the-Cause, a not-for-profit organization that raises money and awareness for local individuals and their families impacted by cancer.

Riders decorated their horses with ribbons and the Sort-4-the-Cause logo for the fifth annual event, held this past weekend in Sunnyside. Although the total raised is not yet known, event organizer Shellie Speck said the total raised exceeded last year’s amount.
